2- Complex Dynamic Systems: Modelling and Simulation of Smart Grid

Abstract:
The aging, traditional grid with rapid failure rates will soon be replace by the new intelligent and smart grid. The new smart grid systems are empowered by two way communication to provide dynamic load management, pricing, and distributed load generation. The evolving smart grid can be modeled as a complex dynamic system. In order to facilitate large scale deployment of smart grid both simulation and theoretical tools must be developed to study the performance and optimize its utilization for different use-cases. The purpose of this session is to provide a platform to both industry and academia to collaborate and chalk out plan for modeling and simulation of large scale smart grid systems.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 3- Next Generation Network Services
Call for Papers

Abstract:
Communication networks have become a key economic and social infrastructure in Africa and Middle-East economies. The network infrastructure supports all economic sectors, is crucial to the national and international exchange of goods and services, and acts as a main catalyst in changing economic interrelationships through rapid technological change and the proliferation of a range of new services. Next generation networks (NGNs) are now becoming a popular means of transport for all services and applications. Moreover, telecoms have started migrating from traditional networks to high performance, profitable and architecturally evolved networks. The migration towards Next Generation Networks changes the network topology which potentially involves several structural changes such as a reorganization of core network nodes and changes in the number of network hierarchy levels. In this new context, NGNs ensure the integration and the adaptability of heterogeneous networks such as Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs), Vehicular Ad hoc Networks (VANETs), Femtocell Networks, Near Field Communication (NFC) that provide data close to people. It can be realized through new services that are made possible by these new technologies including VoIP, IPTV, Femtocell services, location-based services instant messaging etc. This session is an opportunity for researchers, academics and industries to share their insight and knowledge in all areas related to new generation networks and services. The session topics appropriate for consideration include but are not limited to:
Web Based systems
Mobile, Ubiquitous and Pervasive Computing and communications;
Mobile Learning Technologies
QoS and performance evaluations
Web Technologies and Society
Adaptive and self-organizing networks
Network management for automotive networking
Novel energy-efficient control strategies for WSN

4- Fuzzy logic based Security evaluation of Crypto and Digital Water Marking Systems

Abstract:
It is well known that the crypto and watermarking systems are based on the well known mathematical concepts. Many of these systems were invented in the last 20 years, and many attacking methods were invented as a counterattack against these developed systems. All the attacking methods aim towards breaking the security of the considered system. The designers (of such critical and very important systems) need to be sure from the security level (complexity) of the designed systems, or she / he needs to know what the advantages given by any development performed on any known crypto or watermarking systems. Hence she / he must look for "evaluation criteria" that can be used as an evaluation method or (procedure). Till now the field of security evaluation is considered as new field. Most of interesting experts considered it as apart of cryptanalysis. Recently, Fuzzy logic evaluator was used for the first time as complexity evaluator for stream cipher system, and Knapsack type Public key cryptosystem and also as an evaluator for Digital watermarking systems. The evaluation of the security (complexity) level of the designed encryption depends on using a number of approaches, as follows:
a- Synthesis parameters of the designed systems.
b- Information theoretic parameters related to the designed systems.
c- Mathematical complexity theoretic parameters.
d- Statistical parameters.
e- Orthogonal Transformation as (Fourier transform, Walsh Transform, Z transform).
f- Computational Intelligence Methods (Fuzzy Logic, Genetic Algorithm, ANN) Robustness, transparency, complexity and so on are the characteristics of digital watermarking technique. Evaluation of watermark concentrates on the robustness. In fact complexity evaluation is also all-important in the digital watermarking evaluation domain. Therefore, the evaluation of the complexity of the embedding function of digital audio watermarking algorithms is expounded mainly. In particular, it was proposed that bit rate, perceptual quality, computational complexity, and robustness to signal processing were key aspects by which watermarking algorithms could be evaluated. The aim of session: The session will concentrate on the papers related to the aspects of security (complexity) evaluation of the different types of Cryptosystems and digital watermarking methods depend on the use of the Fuzzy Logic.

5- Diagnosis and Fault Tolerant Control of Industrial Systems

Abstract:
The increasing degree of automation of processes needs a rigorous surveillance. This surveillance must be able to detect an abnormal evolution of the system, to localize it and to identify it in order to decide an action to undertake.
However, the diagnosis module is only the first link to a new synthesis of the control law to take into account defects. The second link is a reconfiguration mechanism able to synthesize a new control law with the module information FDI (Fault Diagnosis and Isolation); while ensuring the stability of the closed loop system. We are talking about fault-tolerant control (FTC Fault Tolerant Control).

The invited session is an opportunity to present contributions in the following topics:
Modeling and control of industrial systems
Fault Detection and Isolation (FDI)
Fault Tolerant Control (FTC)
Active supervision
Monitoring…

Presentations must submit an innovative aspect in theoretical researches accompanied with practical consideration. Submissions from students are strongly encouraged. Proceedings will be published in IEEE Xplore. Extended versions of selected papers will be published in special issues of major journals (IJCIS, IJAISC, IJSCC, IJAEC, IJICT).

The Economic Crisis in Spain as a Desequilibrium Between Values: The Axiological-SETCU Model as a Solution
Abstract:
The world economic situation has significantly changed, not only because of the crisis, but mainly due to the fact that some classical economic principles, before centered around the production and distribution of real goods, are now more centered around an over-circulation of complex financial documents (MBS,CDO, CDS…….) which are not productive at all, except for a minority of experts and institutions, like some “shadow bank systems” which are not sufficiently regulated. In this context, our politicians and technicians are not taking into account the very high level of unemployment in Spain and its economic and social consequences. The three main axiological disequilibria (“economic competitive needs”, “unemployment” and “financial resources available”), much greater in Spain than in other developed countries, are clearly not interrelated in their economic analyses, whereas the systemic integration of these three disequilibria could solve a substantial part of the unemployment problem. The main reasons for this omission seems to be: first, that technicians are not ready to make the necessary efforts to adopt new theoretical and non-obsolete approaches to cultural and economic problems (for instance, the axiological and systemic approaches); and, second, the unethical behavior of politicians who usually think more of their personal and electoral interests than of the population’s needs. The attitude of these two main stakeholders could be at the heart of the grave Spanish unemployment problem.
